I would bring a large clutch like just enough to carry your stuff, not any unnecessary items that we usually have in our bags. Try not to bring too much to make yourself appear well organized.

Do not carry a bulky shoulder type bag. They are too clumsy and look awkward. A smaller handbag to carry only your essential needs is your best choice.
