This item is worthless and is simply a waste of money. I took it out of the packaging and weighed one suitcase - the weight didn’t look right. I weighed a second suitcase and the weight was definately wrong. This item never worked and after using it twice it registered everything I weighed as 22 pounds. I will never buy anything from this company again - unless I want to throw more of my money away.

This is very handy, especially when traveling with kids who have so much gear and toys. It saved me a couple times from going over the 50 lbs weight limit. it can also be used to weigh other things around the house. for example the carseat and handbag…. incase you are curious.
oh and is small enough to pack in corner of suitcase to weigh luggage on the way back. Only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is becasue sometimes it can be tricky since it has one button it can be difficult to get the timing down for weighing luggage or/and sometimes switches into kg. I am sure if i sat down with instructions i could work out the kinks but i dont have the patience

With all these airlines having such tight regulations with the check in luggage, my husband and I had a bit of stressful bickering prior to leaving for the airport for our last trip over how heavy our luggage was and how we may get charged extra. Thankfully, we were safe that time, but it was then when I realized that I would really like an easy way to weigh our luggage prior to leaving our house to make sure the vacations won’t turn into stressful events again.
I have not used this device with luggages yet, but as soon as it arrived I wrapped the straps around my ankle weights to test it out. It weighed the ankleweights find and was accurate enough.
Cool gadget, affordable, good ease of mind!

I really don’t know whether this works well or not as the first time I use it out of the box it showed “Low Battery” in the display.
